Photoshoot 1 and manipulation
After reviewing the pictures that I had taken on my first photo shoot I decided that they didn’t need much manipulation at all. I wanted the images on my third article to be natural and not look too edited. I decided to increase the contrast on some of the pictures as some of them had an almost ghostly effect because of the poor weather conditions. The contrast on them makes them stand out more and look more effective on the article. I also increased the brightness on some of the pictures because some that I took looked quite dark, this is because I didn’t have any lighting equipment on this photo shoot.
If I was to do this photo shoot again I would have taken lighting equipment such as a light box. This would mean I would have to do less manipulation in post production. This would have saved me a lot of time that I could have spent on other things.
The images below show how I changed my pictures by changing the contrast and brightness using Photoshop. I feel that this small change has made a big difference by making my pictures more noticeable on the page and makes them stand out more than they did.
