Monitoring Log Week Beginning 28/01/13

This week I have been scheduled to write my three articles for my three double page spreads. I have also been scheduled to produce my Front Cover which is very similar to my mock up front cover and start the production of my double page spreads.

This week I have written my first drafts for two of my magazines. I have written the articles for my climbing gadgets double page spread, which is similar to my mock up article and I have also written my article introduction to my interview with Rob Shepherd and the introduction to the Location, Location, Location article.

I started creating my three DPS’s last week because I was concerned that I wouldn’t have them completed in time if I stuck to the schedule. I have created two pages for my first article, 3 pages for my second article and two pages for my third. I used InDesign to create the double page spreads. I firstly marked up the dimensions of each page (21cm/29cm). On my third article I have substituted some pictures from a default album on my computer to see what the images will look like when I complete my photoshoot at the weekend.

I have created my front cover using sell lines and headers that I thought of the week previously. I used Photoshop to create my front cover.  I just need to insert an image in the background from a Photo shoot.

At the weekend I am going on a photo shoot on Sunday to Brimham Rocks to take photos for my front cover and for my third article n climbing locations. On the following Monday I am going to upload the images on to the school computers so that I can manipulate the images on photo shop,

For homework I also need to complete my third article about the best locations for climbing in the North East.
